Some additional information on WOW albums

They provided access to a multitude of top songs of the era. Accompaniments of these songs are still used every day by artists around the world.

Although WOW did not have an album specifically dedicated to children’s music do to the nature of the genre the music was good for all ages.

Most of WOWs songs were directly from the given years most contemporary lineup as the point was to provide one album with all the years top songs.

Country music rarely made the top of the charts in Christian music but every now and then a great country song would make the list.

Gospel is of course the main sub genre that made it into the WOW albums along with modern worship and overall inspirational music.

Many of the top artists of today were also relevant then like Jeremy Camp, MercyMe, Hillsong and Casting Crowns
